Police renew appeal in search for missing Yateley man

Concern is growing for the welfare of a missing man from Yateley.

50-year-old Andrew Chalkley was last seen at approximately 11.45am on Tuesday, April 22 when a neighbour saw him outside his home address on Goldcrest Close.

He was reported missing to police later that evening. Concerns for Andrew's poor health mean that his family and the police are concerned for him and want to find him as quickly as possible.

It is believed that Andrew will not have travelled far and efforts to locate him are being focused in the local area.

Acting Detective Inspector Paula James said:

"Andrew has now been missing for approximately 48 hours. He left home without any cash or bank cards in order to finance being away for this length of time.

I would urge the public to get in touch if they think they may have seen Andrew as any possible sightings could be vital in our search to locate him."

Andrew is described as a white man, medium build, 6ft 1 tall, he has short black but greying hair. He suffers with swollen feet and shortness of breath and therefore is likely he will have been seen stopping in order to assist with his breathing if he is walking.

Please view a photo of Andrew which is a few years old but is the only picture we have available.

We would ask anyone who may have seen Andrew to contact the police by calling 101.
