Police warning after chemicals stolen from Aldershot shop

Police in Aldershot are warning the public after a batch of chemicals were stolen from a shop in the town.

Sometime between 7pm on Monday, June 2 and 11am on Tuesday, June 3, a quantity of herbal incense products and almost £3,000 in cash was stolen from SkunkWorks in Victoria Road, Aldershot.

Unknown offenders pulled boarding off a rear window and smashed a window to gain entry to the shop.

These products are not for human consumption and could cause adverse reactions if ingested.

Sergeant Jonathan White from the Aldershot Safer Neighbourhoods Team said:

"Have you heard anyone talking about this incident or offering herbal incense for sale?

This product could be very harmful and is not for human consumption. I would urge anyone who knows anything about this incident to contact police as soon as possible."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Sgt White at Aldershot Police Station on 101 or call the charity Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
