Four men charged following rogue trader offences

Four men have been charged following an investigation into four rogue trader incidents that occurred during February and March in the north of the county and in bordering police areas.

During the incidents elderly members of the public were charged excessive amounts of money for roofing work that was often not needed and then driven to the bank to withdraw cash.

The incidents are:

The following men have been charged with Conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation:

Andrew Doe has also been charged with money laundering offences.

All of the men have been bailed to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Thursday, July 24.
