Appeal for information after woman sexually assaulted in Farnborough

Police are appealing for information after a woman was sexually assaulted in Farnborough.

The woman, aged in her 40s, was assaulted by a man outside The Village Hotel.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at around 6am on Sunday, October, 5.

Police are particularly keen to hear from a woman who found the victim wandering around the outside of the hotel.  The woman is described as being white, aged in her early 40s, with shoulder length dark hair and wearing a long black and white dress.  The woman escorted the victim back to the hotel but did not leave any contact details..

Detective Constable Mike Dumbleton, said:

"I am very keen to speak to the woman who helped the victim after she found her wandering around outside the hotel in the early hours of October 5.  This woman may have vital information that could assist our inquiry."
